Quality Control

Personnel:
Jim Wells (VP Engineering)
Ken Hopple (Superintendent)

Potemkin Industries, Inc. has developed an inspection system that monitors quality throughout all of the Manufacturing and Technical Field Service stages.

  • At final inspection, all major components are identified with product code serial numbers (metal stamped) and an inspection chart is filled out recording all critical dimensions.
  • The design engineers responsibility is to predetermine what inspection methods are to be used and is responsible to monitor the process throughout the project.
  • Engineering related meetings are conducted to involve all of the Team Leaders and team members right from the start of the project, whether it involves manufacturing of a new part or overhaul of an engine or compressor.
