Potemkin Industries, Inc.'s Technical Field Services is managed by the engineering department, in order to assure engineering data is available and used to perform the work. A successful project is backed by a predetermined scope, performance data, and the preparation of inspection data for the work being done.


To assure a successful project, Potemkin Project Engineers conduct pre and post meetings, with the customer, to review all documentation and performance.

  • Complete engine and compressor overhauls on-site or in-house.
  • Complete station upgrades; including re-cylindering, control panel upgrades, re-piping, line testing, etc....
  • Unit troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Cleanburn conversions and testing to meet current emissions standards.
  • Compressor packaging of small to medium horsepower electric and natural gas skids..

To effectively respond to a customer request requires that Potemkin control as many elements as possible. Manufacturing can produce most parts from its original design stage to final inspection. To support Technical Field Services, Manufacturing provides the reconditioning and repairs required to complete the projects.

Services:

  • Our machine capabilities allow us to produce, crankshafts, connecting rods, liners and sleeves, pistons and piston rings, valves and packings, unloaders, crossheads, etc....
  • Our pattern shop is equipped to make patterns for most parts, such as pistons, crossheads, bearing housings, etc.... The project engineer coordinates the pattern construction, such as layout, tolerances and gating, and works directly with the foundry to obtain quality castings and the best delivery possible.
  • Engine and compressor power cylinders, heads, pistons, rods and other major components are repaired in house.
